Program Overview
The Living Solutions Counseling Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program offers a meaningful, structured internship experience for graduate students pursuing degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work.
Designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world practice, our program provides hands-on clinical experience through secure teletherapy, allowing interns to offer compassionate, evidence-based care from the comfort of their own space.
Under the supervision of licensed clinicians, interns gain experience delivering individual, couples, and family therapy, building confidence and competence in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Our program aligns with CACREP, COAMFTE, and CSWE accreditation standards, ensuring that students receive the high-quality training required for graduation and licensure. Interns leave the program with strong clinical foundations and the personal and professional growth essential for a successful career in the mental health field.
